is really famous among users of all the email clients available on the web and that is not because it has a cool interface rather it is famous for its reliability and huge space (3GB now thats something). Google doesn't stop here and recently Google announced that users can now buy more online storage for Google services just by paying a little amount. So why not use this online storage space and use it externally (Probably as a network drive or one of your own computer hard drives).

Arduino + XBee

This service was created as the first application to use a new RPC mechanism designed in the Computer Laboratory – MSRPC2. It runs over MSNL (Multi-Service Network Layer) – a network layer protocol designed for ATM networks.

The Centre for Advanced Visualization and Interaction, CAVI, is a part of the University of Aarhus with activities within the fields of architecture, design, scientific visualization, art and culture. Cabspotting traces San Francisco's taxi cabs as they travel throughout the Bay Area. The patterns traced by each cab create a living and always-changing map of city life. This map hints at economic, social, and cultural trends that are otherwise invisible. The Exploratorium has invited artists and researchers to use this information to reveal these "Invisible Dynamics."

The Center for Virtual Architecture’s research is located at the intersection of architecture, new media and computational technologies.

This competition winning addition is composed of five interconnected structures as opposed to a single massive expansion. Traversing from the existing building across its sculpture park, the five built "lenses" form new spaces and angles of vision.

Here are some notes from the "New Technologies and New Materials" panel hosted by Peter Cornwell at last weeks Media Architecture Conference. As the opening panel it revealed the current technological developents in media-facade design and exposed the practical experiences of the speakers over a range of different approaches, programs and contexts. Light-emitting wallpaper
With Jonas Samson's high-tech light-emitting wallpaper it's possible to use a two-dimentional flat surface as light source instead of a 3D object. As long as the wallpaper is turned ‘off’, it is indistinguishable as a source of light. Instead, it is just what it appears to be: wallpaper.

London based Troika has been commissioned by Artwise Curators to create a signature piece at the entrance of the new British Airways luxury lounges in Heathrow Terminal 5.

Confidence tricks are difficult to classify, because they keep changing and often contain elements of more than one type. This list should not be considered complete, but covers the most well-known confidence tricks. Throughout this list, the perpetrator of the confidence trick is frequently called a "con artist" or simply "artist", and the intended victim called a "mark".

For FREEZE, a recent "month-long celebration of Alaska and life in the north," Vancouver-based molo design was commissioned to create an installation in Anchorage made of snow and ice.

The new-generation showcase is a highly visible venue, both within the Beijing metropolis and internationally, and a powerful platform to display the work of emerging artists. Its high visibility will be conducive to interactive projects and artistic dialogue within and beyond China’s borders. A compelling program of videos, installations and performances will be organized by a diverse team of independent curators, art institutions, galleries, media schools, corporations, collectors and benefactors, all lead by curator and producer Luisa Gui.

Nordwesthaus on Lake Constance provides an impressive lighting display in the new Rohner harbour. Together with Zumtobel Ledon underlines the harmonious interplay between architecture and light.

Lighting Technology Projects (LTP) has supplied and installed a low resolution video media wall, designed and specified by Speirs & Major Associates (SaMA) for the atrium of IPC Media's new London HQ. This is in the Blue Fin Building, part of the Bankside 1,2,3 development in Southwark.
